Backstory

Hello fellow pup lovers! I’m Amy, founder and CEO of Gunnel Pups, a company committed to delivering classic long-lasting dog gear for you and your pup’s adventures on the water. The idea for Gunnel Pups was born out of my love for my English cream golden retriever Annie and her littermate and sister, Bridie.

Annie and Bridie spent a lot of time together in the ocean, on the beach, and playing (or sleeping) on the boat. They also enjoyed biting each other’s faces (a sister thing) and spent time rolling in smelly seaweed, and frolicking in pools, ponds, lakes, rivers, and muddy puddles.
